7-day itinerary
Day 1 The Exuma islands are a string of islands and cays that form a pearl necklace of natural harbors and secluded beaches that span over a hundred miles of clear blue water. Depart from Nassau Paradise Island for the Allan‘s Cay Group. Anchor off Highborne Cay for the night.
Day 2 The second day is reserved for water sports. Consider Fowl Cay for lunch, or a snorkel at the Caves at Rocky Dondas. Bell Island is another simply gorgeous place where you’ll have the beaches to yourself.
Day 3 Staniel Cay is the cruising headquarters for the Exuma Cays. The island’s main attractions are its friendly people, beautiful clear waters and secluded beaches. Bone fishing, reef and deep-sea fishing are excellent around Staniel Cay.
Day 4 Head for Great Guana Cay, where the village of black point is located. Then it’s on to perhaps Farmer’s Cay Yacht Club. The area is beautiful; the settlement small and clean and the people are kind and generous.
Day 5 Wardrick Wells could be your destination today, an area known for its hiking trails and beautiful waters, ideal for snorkeling.
Day 6 Leave for Shroud Cay, an archipelago of small cays divided by creeks. The delight of Shroud Cay is its variety of waterways that can only be explored by dinghy or wave runner.
Day 7 Leave for Paradise Island and the Atlantis Resort before resuming your cruise into Nassau. Disembark on Paradise Island.
